The driver turned up around 10 minutes and was helpful and polite. The only downside was the traffic!

The car used was a Mercedes which was fitted with snow tyres thus dispensing with the need for chains.The driver was waiting for us at Grenoble Airport on the way out, but was 25 minutes late collecting us from the hotel in Val Thorens because of the traffic (he blamed Paris drivers). He should have set off earlier. However, the owner of the taxi was able to provide progress reports to us when I phoned him. Note, I had to make contact with the taxi company to receive updates and if they had contacted me to advise of the late arrival then clearly that would have been a better service.

Very punctual and a nice Mercedes saloon car. They were the lowest price I received although this was still quite expensive for a transfer but taxis in France are not cheap and the journey is 120 miles, but the comparatively low price was not reflected in the service.
