Compare transfers from Grenoble Airport (Alpes-Isère Airport)

Tell us where you are going when you land and Grenoble Airport transfer companies will send you their best prices for your transfers. Our system is different to other taxi booking websites because we don’t ask all the local taxi companies to give us their transfer prices from Grenoble Airport at the start of the season. If we did this, you would always pay the same (higher) amount for your journey. Our system asks local taxi companies to have a look at the times and dates you are arriving and departing from Grenoble Airport, and to make you their best offer at that moment depending on their existing transfer schedule and vehicle availability.

You can start your transfer request at the top of this page.

About Grenoble Airport

Edit 23 August 2019: Grenoble Airport has been renamed Alpes-Isère Airport. Grenoble airport’s location makes it an ideal starting point in the French Alps as it is right in the middle of the Rhône-Alpes region. The airport is also known as Aéroport de Grenoble-Isère, Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs and it was built in 1968 for the Grenoble Winter Olympics. Today Grenoble airport welcomes over 1 million passengers over the winter season. The terminal building has been rebuilt in 2002 and it offers all the basic amenities and facilities that you would expect of a small airport. Handicapped Facilities at Grenoble Airport Grenoble airport offers services for handicapped passengers in accordance with EU regulations. Make sure you advise your airline of any special requirements that you need before your travels. If you suffered an injury during your holidays then make sure that your doctor gives you a ‘Fit to fly’ certificate as without this you might be refused to board the aircraft. Money and communication facilities at Grenoble Airport There is a cash machine in the departure hall of Grenoble airport where you can extract euros. There is no money exchange service. Grenoble airport also offers a payable wifi access throughout the terminal for €5/day. Grenoble Airport Restaurants There is a café in the departure hall as well as the arrival hall at Grenoble airport serving drinks and sandwiches. Since 2012 there is also a restaurant upstairs in the departure hall called RestoFly. It overlooks the runway and offers typical local dishes as well as ‘plat du jours’. The restaurant also has a descent wine list in case you want to spoil yourself a bit. We would recommend getting food before going through security control as possibilities are limited in the lounge area. There is also a MacDonalds restaurant and a hypermarket a short, ten minute walk away from Grenoble airport. You just need to walk past the car parks and go across a roundabout. Grenoble Airport Shopping There is a small gift shop in the main terminal building offering souvenirs, sweets and cuddly toys. There is also a newsagent next door to it that sells international magazines and papers as well as cigarettes. There is also a Duty Free shop once you have gone through security control. Other facilities at Grenoble Airport Grenoble Airport offers facilities to its business travellers in the Business VIP centre where you can hire conference rooms and lounges. Grenoble Weather Winters are quiet cold in Grenoble and it snows all the way down to the city, summers however are known to be very hot as it is protected from winds by the mountains.
