Gran Canaria Airport (or Las Palmas Airport) is Spain’s fifth busiest airport with an average annual passenger traffic of more than 10.5 million visitors. The airport has three terminals housed in a single building. The zones are: A for EU flights, B for other international flights and C for flights to and from other Canary Islands. The airport is situated 18 kilometers from the capital Las Palmas and 25 kilometers from the popular beaches on the south side of the island.

Money and communication facilities at Las Palmas airport
There is a bank situtated on the ground level of Zone A. You can also find a bureaux de change in the EU Arrivals Hall and also one on the ground level of the Check-in Hall. There are ATMs throughout all three zones, while a post office is situated in the International Arrivals Hall.

There are a number of places to get something to eat and drink at outlets spread across zones A, B and C. Cafés offer light meals and snacks, while the Carlsberg bar offers beer and other alcoholic drinks.

Having passed through security in the Departures hall, there are duty-free outlets, while elsewhere there is a large selection of shops selling all kinds of products including books, newspapers, confectionery and also perfumes, alcohol, tobacco, jewellery, sporting goods and clothing.You can also find a Pharmacy in the main public area of the airport, between Zone A and Zone B.

Conference and Business Facilities at Gran Canaria Airport
The Airport has the Galdós VIP Lounge in Zone A and there are Aena VIP lounges in zones B and C offering some business facilities. There is also a conference hall serving zones B and C with space for 79 people.
Other facilites at Las Palmas airport
The airport has got a children’s play area and there are also some special baby changing rooms. In the Departures Hall A, there is an internet café. On the ground level of Zone A, there is a First Aid post, while the pharmacy is in the main public area of the airport, between Zone A and Zone B.
