The airport is situated 18 kilometers from the capital Las Palmas and 25 kilometers from the popular beaches on the south side of the island.

Gran Canaria Airport Taxis
You will find taxi ranks outside the Arrivals areas of all three airport zones. All taxis have a meter. On your return to the airport the taxi drivers will drop you off outside the Departures hall.
To and From Gran Canaria Airport by Bus
Public buses run from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C of Las Palmas airport. Buses leave to several destinations in Gran Canaria. Bus line 60 runs to Las Palmas, while the number 66 runs to Faro de Maspalomas.
Gran Canaria Airport Arrivals
After your flight have landed at Gran Canaria Airport, you should check the monitors at the entrance to the hall to find out which carousel you should go to collect your luggage. The number and origin of the flight is indicated above each carousel.

Entering Gran Canaria Airport Departures Hall you will find the check in desks handling both flights to EU countries and Inter Canary Island flights and other non-EU international flights. All the destinations are indicated on the information screens.
