Faro airport is especially busy during the summer season, as between May and October tourists flock to the Algarve for its beaches and great golf.
The Algarve is very popular with tourists from all over the world. This is partly to do with the wonderful weather in Faro which consists of mild winters and hot summers. September and October stay pleasantly mild and by day, temperatures rarely stray far from 23-24°C.
